Training and External Partnerships Hub

The Center is committed to training the next generation of scientists to address precision nutrition and health.

Our Programs and Partnerships

  • NIH Nutrition for Precision Health Study

Powered by the All of Us Research Program, this study represents the first large All of Us ancillary study with the goal of developing algorithms to predict individual responses to foods and dietary patterns. The Research Coordinating Center for NPH is co-led by the CPNH investigators and RTI International.

  • Metabolic Health Symposium

The first Metabolic Health Cornell Intercampus Symposium: From Molecules to Populations, was held September 11-12, 2023, with the goal of bringing together researchers from Cornell Weill and Cornell Ithaca, from across the disciplinary spectrum to advance our understanding of metabolic health.

  • T32 Training program on AI in Precision Nutrition

The AIPrN training program is designed to train the next generation of scientists and build a workforce equipped with expertise in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) methods to tackle complex biomedical challenges in nutrition and health using high dimensional data.

  • PAHO/WHO/Cochrane/Cornell Summer Institute

The Institute for Systematic Reviews in Nutrition for Global Policy Making is part of the PAHO/WHO Collaborating Center, and is the only such center focused on nutrition in the US. The Institute has trained over 140 participants from 25 countries in the development of systematic reviews of nutrition interventions.

A multidisciplinary approach

Our model was presented as an example at a recent National Academies meeting on how to build capacity in this area.
